The french farmhouse is in the heart of the  Dordogne countryside and has it's own 9m x 5m swimming pool and 9 acres of glorious woodlands and paddocks.

Wifi is also available.

There is  terrestrial TV offering U.K. main channels and a video recorder with a selection of DVDs for both adults and children.

Family board games are available and a box of activities to occupy children for those occasional rainy days.

Because we're open all year our property is ideal for larger families, groups of friends or work colleagues seeking a shorter out of season breaks. Ideal for fishing trips, cycling parties and motorcycle groups.

As well as the forest and paddocks we also provide a BBQ to cater for your party atmosphere.

The Dordogne offers a range of activities all year round. Many of the most popular sites in the region offer discounts for groups on their entrance fees.

There are also a host of sporting opportunities in the Dordogne including golf, cycling, walking and river sports. Many of these opportunities are available all year.

For those groups arriving by air, the car hire companies at Bergerac Airport will rent MPV vehicles for your team to share to explore the the beautiful Dordogne.  Do look into Buggs Hire an English run company operating from both Limoges and Bergerac who offer a most competitive rate.

And, pets are also welcome at La Petite Forêt.  The property is gated, however there is a lot of land and forests adjoining the property which is not completely enclosed so there is potential for your pet to go astray if left to wander.  

Note:  It is respectfully requested that you please remove your pet's faeces at the time so that is not an issue for the next visiting guests.

Directions to the Supermarket


Exit the property and go to the end of the road and turn right. Turn right again onto the main N21 towards Bergerac.

Take the first turning on your left, sign posted to Vergt. Follow this road approx 2 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the last turning off this roundabout and approx. ½ mile you will reach the village of Vergt. The Intermarche (supermarket) is on your left hand side along with the petrol station. If you continue ahead into the village, you will find coffee shops, restaurants etc.

The village of Vergt has 3 piazzas (squares) which hosts a local produce market every Friday morning. Also, during August there is a night market with live music every Tuesday evening in one of the 3 squares.



Exit the property and go to the end of the road and turn right. Turn right again onto the main N21 towards Bergerac. Follow this road for approx. 15mins until you see the sign posts for Intermarche. You will be directed over a bypass avoiding the town centre. This is a large store that you may have seen on your journey from the airport.

To experience the beautiful medieval town of Bergerac, follow the signs for centre ville (town centre) via the town of Lembras. Bergerac has a large market on a Saturday morning.



Exit the property and go to the end of the road and turn right. Turn left onto the N21 towards Perigueux. Before you reach the city you will come to a roundabout with SUPER U on the right hand side.

If you want to continue to the city you will see signs for LeClerc Superstore in Trellisac. Follow the signs for Trellisac where many other superstores can be found along with a bowling centre and restaurants.

The centre of Perigueux is steeped in medieval history and is largely famous for La Cathédrale Saint-Front. Perigueux, with its cobbled streets lined with al-fresco restaurants and a market every Monday, is a typical bustling french city where one can try cheese tasting, watch chocolate being made or pick up a live chicken or bunny for tea ! Follow the signs for Centre ville (town centre).
